Nguyen Son Tra

Mr. Son Tra has been a partner of TNTP from 2016. Before that, he worked for more than 9 years at Baker McKenzie Vietnam and Phuoc & Partners Law Firm

Mr. Son Tra’s main practices focus on dispute resolution, debt collection, enforcement and family and divorce.

He has advised and settled various kinds of dispute in Vietnam. Among of them are real estate disputes, construction disputes, commercial contract disputes, labor disputes, investment disputes, civil disputes, corporate disputes and insurance disputes. Besides, he has wealth of experience in debt collection practice and successfully collected lots of bad debts for domestic and foreign Clients.

When Vietnam courts or Arbitration Centres issue effective judgments or decisions or arbitration awards to Clients, he will work with competent Vietnam enforcement agencies to make such judgments, decisions or arbitration awards come into effect.

Regarding family and divorce practices, he has supported numerous Clients in successfully resolving relevant matters, including marriage, divorce and children matters.

Mr. Son Tra has provided legal supports for a number of domestic and foreign clients. Among of them are Shell Vietnam, Petronas Vietnam, Cedar Financial, BlueScope Vietnam, General Motors Vietnam, Credit Reform, Maybank Kim Eng, Sika Vietnam, Nuplex Vietnam, Petec, Schenker Vietnam…

Mr. Son Tra is currently cooperating with several Foreign Law Firms based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to resolve litigation cases for Clients of such law firms.

Representative legal tasks performed by Mr. Son Tra:

Advising various multinational Clients on various dispute matters;

Acting as Clients’ representative to negotiate with dispute parties to amicably settle the disputes;

Acting as Clients’ representative or attorney to settle disputes at Vietnam Courts or Arbitration Centers;

Acting as Clients’ representative to settle disputes at Vietnam competent authorities apart from Vietnam Courts or Arbitration Centers;

Collecting bad debts for Clients through one or all necessary stages, i.e. negotiation, litigation, enforcement, bankruptcy stages;

Working with competent enforcement authorities to resolve all issues arising from enforcement process in order to enforce the effective judgments or decisions or arbitration awards of the Clients quickly and efficiently

Drafting divorce agreement, pre-marriage agreement for Clients;

Acting as Clients’ attorney to attend and settle divorce cases at Vietnam competent Courts

Correcting or adding name of foreign father in Vietnamese child’s birth certificate.
